Melanie Whittington Architects specialises in transforming private residential properties to the highest standard, creating contemporary, elegant and practical solutions to suit individual clients’ needs and cost constraints.
We place a real emphasis on working very closely with our clients and work hard to fully understand their unique brief, sensitively translating this into quality designs, with excellent attention to detail. Melanie is a mother to two young boys and prides herself on designing spaces that work well for families, as well as individuals. We value the relationships we have formed with our clients, both past and present, and are committed to delivering the best possible results on all stages of the project.
Melanie has almost 20 years experience in practice, previously working for the award winning practice, Barbara Weiss Architects, where she was an Associate for five years, delivering high-end residential projects throughout London and beyond. Melanie was Project Architect for the award winning ‘Wokingham Medical Centre’ and worked closely from conception to completion on the ‘Westminster House’. Prior to BWA, she worked at Paul Davis and Partners in Belgravia and also spent some time in Havana, Cuba, working on the restoration of the old town.
We typically work on all stages of the project from conception to completion, guiding clients through the various processes in a calm and organised manner, removing a large amount of the stress that can arise with building work. If you have a project in mind we would love to hear from you!
The office is based in Lewes, East Sussex, but we regularly undertake work in London and surrounding areas.
Melanie is ARB registered and carries professional indemnity insurance.
